The AudiQ7 backs up this impressive award for safety with Audis legendary quattro permanent all-wheel drive and electronic stability control available on all Q7 models. Along with these systems, the AudiQ7 features blind spot protection with side assist. This safety feature works by monitoring the lanes on both sides of the vehicle followed by a bright flashing LED signal on the side view mirror which serves as a warning to the driver if there is a car in his or her blind spot.

The National Highway and Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) gave the Audi Q7 the highest-possible ratings for front and side crash protection.
The Audi Q7 received a five-star rating for driver and passenger protection in frontal crash tests, and a five-star rating for front and rear passenger protection in side impact crash tests. The Audi Q7 also received a roll-over rating of four-stars.
